How Inventory Control works

Investigate balances, reservations, movements, and stock exceptions.

Menus and actions depend on your workspace, plan and permissions. Use the onboarding guide for current navigation. Provider setup and fees may apply; confirm the configured workflow before a transaction.

What it shows

Inventory Control helps explain why a product's available quantity changed. It brings together on-hand stock, reservations, movements, adjustments, and location information.

Common uses

  • Find a balance for a client and product.
  • See whether stock is reserved for a shipment or D2C order.
  • Review movements between locations or operational states.
  • Investigate receiving, picking, packing, shipment completion, or adjustment differences.
  • Support a cycle count or physical reconciliation.

Investigation order

  1. Filter by client, product, warehouse, and date.
  2. Compare on-hand, available, and reserved quantities.
  3. Open movement or activity detail.
  4. Check linked shipment, inbound, order, or location records.
  5. Correct the source workflow or record an approved adjustment with a clear reason.
