What shipment combination means in cross-dock
Understand why several marketplace shipments can be handled together while remaining separate records.
Menus and actions depend on your workspace, plan and permissions. Use the onboarding guide for current navigation. Provider setup and fees may apply; confirm the configured workflow before a transaction.
What it is
A shipment combination groups related marketplace shipments into one warehouse work request. It helps the warehouse receive, prep, pack, and document the work together while preserving each original shipment reference.
What it does not do
- It does not merge marketplace shipment IDs into one marketplace shipment.
- It does not change the destination marketplace.
- It does not make FBA inventory interchangeable with Walmart inventory.
- It does not remove the need to verify quantities and labels for each shipment.
How to use it
- Start from the correct marketplace inventory area.
- Select eligible shipments that should be handled together.
- Review combined products, quantities, destinations, and service type.
- Confirm that every selected shipment belongs to the same operational plan.
- Submit the combination and use its record for warehouse follow-up.
