What a case pack is and how to use it

Define the number of units in a case and use that definition consistently in shipments.

Menus and actions depend on your workspace, plan and permissions. Use the onboarding guide for current navigation. Provider setup and fees may apply; confirm the configured workflow before a transaction.

What case pack means

A case pack is the standard number of sellable units inside one physical case or carton. A case pack of 12 means one sealed case normally contains 12 units.

Define a case pack

  1. Open the product details or case-pack setup area.
  2. Select the product and enter units per case.
  3. Add case dimensions and weight when package-level values are requested.
  4. Compare the definition with a real physical case.
  5. Use the saved case pack when creating an individual case-pack shipment.

Important checks

  • Case quantity is not total shipment quantity.
  • If shipment quantity is not a multiple of case quantity, confirm how remaining units should be packed.
  • Change the case pack when physical packaging changes.
  • The warehouse should verify unusual or mixed cases before packing.
